Rendez-Vous [VINYL]Opis:Product Description 180 gram audiophile vinyl / Includes Insert / / 1977 CLASSIC YACHT-ROCK ALBUM FEATURING “GOT TO BE LOVIN’ YOU” AND “LIVING OF THE LOVE” / PRODUCED BY HANS VERMEULEN (RAINBOW TRAIN) / LIMITED EDITION ON TRANSLUCENT YELLOW COLOURED VINYL About the Artist The American singer, keyboardist, bassist, songwriter, and author Erik Tagg is known for his smooth jazz and pop music style. He began his musical career in the Netherlands as band member of Beehive (1973-1974) and Rainbow Train (1975-1979). Rendez-Vous, his second solo album, released in 1977 and produced by Hans Vermeulen from Rainbow Train, can be characterized by its mellow melodies and sophisticated arrangements, often blending elements of jazz, pop, and rhythm & blues. The album has a distinctive late Seventies soft rock and jazz fusion vibe and feels like a celebration of romantic escapism and lyrical storytelling. Each track is crafted with intricate harmonies and lush arrangements that together with Erik Tagg’s soulful voice evokes a sense of nostalgia and warmth. Although the album did not achieve massive commercial success or mainstream chart-topping status, “Rendez-Vous” garnered a dedicated following and critical acclaim within niche music circles. Rendez-Vous is available as a limited edition on translucent yellow coloured vinyl and includes an insert. Tracklist: Side A: 1. Got To Be Lovin’ You 2. Rendez-vous 3. Lover With Stature 4.
