Latvian soprano Marina Rebeka is one of the leading opera singers of our time. Since her international breakthrough at the Salzburg Festival in 2009 under the baton of Riccardo Muti, Rebeka has been a regular guest at the world's most prestigious concert halls and opera houses, including the Teatro alla Scala (Milan), the Opera National de Paris, the Metropolitan Opera (New York), the Royal Opera House Covent Garden (London), the Bavarian State Opera (Munich), the Vienna State Opera, and the Zurich Opera House. She collaborates with leading conductors, including Riccardo Muti, Zubin Mehta, Antonio Pappano, Valery Gergiev, Fabio Luisi, Yannick Nezet-Seguin, and Daniele Gatti. The variety of her repertoire ranges from Baroque, through bel canto and Verdi, to Tchaikovsky and Britten.

An unmissable recording of one of today's most celebrated artists. "A fine recording by a stellar artist." 5 STARS, BBC Music Magazine Critical Praise for Marina Rebeka: "Marina Rebeka is the prima donna assoluta, under the label which she created. (Rebeka) boldly projects her unstoppable high notes, excellently crowning the volutes with a flawless vocalization. An integral (recording) worthy of its claims. " - Avant Scène Opéra (for Il Pirata, PRIMA010) "A wonderfully silky and clean sound recording flatters a voice of irresistible charm, as well as a very "fin de siècle" interpretation, but without anything languid or evanescent. And then, what a high pitched piano on "Ah ! je suis heureuse", one of the most miraculous of the discography!" - Opéra Magazine, France (for Elle, PRIMA004) "Her wonderful soprano has a warmth of expression that is good for every single piece."
