AtomosOpis:Product DescriptionAmbient to dance: American duos' second album inspired by dance and new instrumentation, Adam Wiltzie and Dustin O Halloran aka A Winged Victory For The Sullen release their second studio album. After the two Americans already gave their first foretaste with the EP Atomos VII in the spring of 2014, Atomos is released as an album in which the duo draws on the well-known influences of piano, strings and drone, as well as harp, synthesizer and electronic influences. Englishman Wayne McGregor, founder of the Random Dance Company and current choreographer of the Royal Ballet, repeatedly played the first album of the two during the exercises of his core group of dancers. After experiencing the dancers' reaction to music, he turned to Wiltzie and O Halloran in the hope that they could write the music for his latest uvre. The result is Atomos, on which the two expanded their sound palette with electronic elements without losing their own chamber music style.
