Opis

The SkylightersOpis:This beautiful collaboration between members of acclaimed alt-country band Last Train Home and two bluegrass legends -- Mike Auldridge (Dobro) and Jimmy Gaudreau (mandolin) -- sparked some of the most refreshing tracks you'll ever hear. From early Louvin Brothers songs to the great Mills Brothers' 1952 hit "Nevertheless," these tunes are newly interpreted with love and passion and respect. LTH lead singer Eric Brace (who contributes an original song) and Gaudreau are in perfect synch with their harmony vocals, and this collection shouldn't be missed by fans of the Seldom Scene, the Country Gentlemen, the Louvin Brothers, the Byrds, and Gram Parsons.
