Johannes Brahms: Piano Sonatas 2 & 3

Opis

Johannes Brahms: Piano Sonatas 2 & 3Opis:Born in Hamburg, Johannes Brahms began his pianistic career at the age of seven. In addition to symphonies, concertos, chamber music and choral works, the piano always played an important role in his work. The two piano sonatas recorded on this CD were written in 1854 as early masterpieces by the 20-year-old composer. Brahms composed a total of only three piano sonatas, which constitute his early creative period and already show his intensive engagement with traditional formal concepts and motivic work. Katinka von Richter plays with lightness, depth and sensitivity - a very personal interpretation of these unique works.
