Live In Concert 1975 - 85 Bruce Springsteen & The Street BandOpis:To say that Springsteen's live shows with the E Street Band were legendary is the height of understatement. On a good night, the set might extend to three and four hours of exhilarating, pulse-pounding rock & roll. How best to capture that on CD? Or was it possible at all? As it turns out, Live 1975-1985 comes as close to the experience as possible. Culling material from various tours, with settings ranging from small rooms to stadiums, the three-CD set emphatically displays Springsteen's charisma as a bandleader and storyteller and makes plain the sheer power of the E Street Band. Some of the many highlights here include covers of Edwin Starr's "War", Tom Waits's "Jersey Girl" and Woody Guthrie's "This Land Is Your Land" and rare versions of originals such as "Because the Night", "Fire" and "Seeds". And relax--all the hits are here as well. If you never saw Springsteen and the E Streeters back then, you might still get your chance. But this set chronicles a special time in the life of a special performer. --Daniel DurchholzProduct description3-CD Tracks: Thunder Road [Roxy, 10/18/75] 5:44 / Adam Raised A Cain [Roxy, 7/7/78] 5:25 / Spirit In The Night [Roxy, 7/7/78] 6:23 / 4th Of July, Asbury Park (Sandy) [Nassau Coliseum, 12/31/80] 6:32 / Paradise By The "C" [Roxy, 7/7/78] 3:53 / Fire [Winterland, 12/16/78] 2:49 / Growin' Up [Roxy, 7/7/78] 7:56 / It's Hard To Be A Saint In The City [Roxy, 7/7/78] 4:37 / Backstreets [Roxy, 7/7/78] 7:33 / Rosalita (Come Out Tonight) [Roxy, 7/7/78] 10:07 / Raise Your Hand [Roxy, 7/7/78] 4:57 / Hungry Heart [Nassau Coliseum, 12/28/80] 4:29 / Two Hearts [Meadowlands Arena, 7/8/81] 3:07 / Cadillac Ranch [Meadowlands Arena, 7/7/81] 4:51 / You Can Look (But You Better Not Touch) [Nassau Coliseum, 12/29/80] 3:56 / Independence Day [Meadowlands Arena, 7/6/81] 5:07 / Badlands [Arizona State University, 11/5/80] 5:15 / Because The Night [Nassau Coliseum, 12/28/80] 5:17 / Candy's Room [Meadowlands Arena, 7/8/81] 3:17 / Darkness On The Edge Of Town [Nassau Coliseum, 12/29/80] 4:18 / Racing In The Street [Meadowlands Arena, 7/6/81] 8:10 / This Land Is Your Land [Nassau Coliseum, 12/28/80] 4:19 / Nebraska [Meadowlands Arena, 8/6/84] 4:16 / Johnny 99 [Giants Stadium, 8/19/85] 4:23 / Reason To Believe [Meadowlands Arena, 8/19/84] 5:15 / Born In The U.
