On an island where no vihicles are permitted walking is almost uanoidable. Even the town, laid out in a natural amphitheatre, enforces a daily climb for inhabitants and visitors alike. Similarly, transport to and from settlements is via wide flagstone or concrete paths, although one may use to water taxis. For those who come to the island to hike there are a number of interesting routes described on the back side of the map..
