Scottish Music Yearbook: Explore Scotland throughout the year through the mOpis:The Scottish Music Yearbook takes you on a year long journey to Scotland. Every day of the year you will listen to a piece of music composed by a Scot and in each month you will go on little multi-day tours. For example, there is a 6 day visit to Glasgow in January, a whisky themed tour in November over 5 days and a 5 day tour of Scottish golf courses in August. You will discover music from all genres, the only constraint being that the music is from a Scottish composer. So, you’ll hear Scottish: opera, jazz, punk, grunge, rock, pop, traditional, folk, indie, computer music, film music, humorous, R&B and others, plus a piece in May that is in its own genre of one, namely ‘literary chamber pop’. Why not dip into the month you are in right now? Visit some Lochs and start tasting the whisky!
