Opis

Piano In The Foreground (Red Vinyl) [VINYL]Opis:Complete LP + 1 bonus track pressed on limited edition 180g red vinyl, contains new specially prepared liner notes by Penguin Guide to Jazz's writer Brian Morton and Paris' prestigious Jazz Magazine. Duke Ellington's classic album 'Piano in the Foreground marks' one of the few occasions in which the legendary bandleader devoted a whole album to playing in a trio format. The LP contains a combination of original compositions and jazz standards. "This rare trio session byEllington (on which he is joined by bassist Aaron Bell and drummer Sam Woodyard) was the first of several in the early '60s that featured his piano in a variety of settings. One wishes that today's revivalists when playing 'the Duke Ellington Songbook' would bring back some of his true obscurities such as the ones on this somewhat forgotten session." - **** Scott Yanow, AllMusicAutor:Duke EllingtonNośnik:lp_recordPłyt:Język: English: Original LanguageData wydania: 2025-01-24Waga: 0.97 gramWysokość: 0.7 cmSzerokość: 13.7 cmDługość: 14.9 cm180-Gram Limited Colored EditionUWAGA: Kupując produkt na tej aukcji zgadzasz się na wydłużony termin realizacji wysyłki (10-14 dni roboczych).
