All wooden watches are impregnated for 20 days with proprietary mixtures of oils and waxes, thanks to which the wood will retain its charm for many years. They average between 15 and 30 meters in height, although the tallest specimens can be as high as 40 meters with a trunk diameter of 0.6 to 1.2 meters. Padouk is a hard and durable wood that has a bright red shade immediately after being cut, but becomes purple-brown under the influence of sunlight. It looks very much like mahogany. It is from it that men's watches are often made of wood. Tulip Tree-Liriodendron The tulip tree is frost-resistant and belongs to the magnolia tree species, characterized by four-flap leaves cut at the top. Their wood can be creamy white, light green, light yellow or brown with red, brown or black rays. Tulip wood is soft and light, which makes it very easy to work with.
